Who I am....?
I have recently (since Nov'07) started as an assistant professor in LabUSE, a group in the Department of Mathematics and Engineering at the University of Madeira, Portugal. Prior to this I spent three years mixing work at ETRI and GIST in South Korea with a short stint at Queensland Health in Brisbane, Australia and a general surfeit of feckless wandering, studying, watching and working my way around South America, Australasia and Asia. You can see some photos from this trip. In the slightly more distant past, I spent three years in Dublin, Ireland as a post-doctoral Research Associate in the Palpable Machines group at Media Lab Europe, the European research partner of the MIT Media Lab. I studied in the University of Glasgow, UK and am, debatedly, Scots. More information about my work is available on my research page.

You can find a recent copy of CV here.

Finally, here you can find my obligatory spurious collection of links.
